Lois Peterson (Baxter)

What a wonderful time last night. I so enjoyed catching up with people I haven't seen in years. Looking forward to doing in again. Hope those who couldn't make it this year will come to a future reunion. It was amazing how some people I would never recognize if they didn't have a nametag on and other shaven't changed a bit in 45 years!!

Gary and Lois, you summed it up!  What a wonderful time we had at the reunion.  Many thanks to all who attend and to the Planning Committee for pulling off a great weekend!  Let's do it again!!

Well, that was a surprise!  I expected to walk in, not remember names and faces, and totally embarrass myself.  It was just the opposite.  Everyone took total advantage of the nametags and/or simply introduced themselves immediately.  There was so much warmth and happiness both Friday and Saturday nights that it would be hard to feel out of place or unwelcomed.  Everyone was hugging!  So if you were reluctant or not able to be at this reunion, please know that you were missed---I can assure you that your name came up in conversation.

Many thanks to Dick and Marsha for your gracious hospitality on Friday night (Who made those beans?  They were outta sight!!).  Peter, as always, you were an excellent emcee.  Don and Jane, you made communications and updates a snap via the website.  Marcia, we all appreciated your thoughtful gift to Jane.  She sure deserved our kudos!  Hats off to the entire planning committee---you didn't miss a thing.   The evening was fun, full of surprises, and such a joy!

WOW!   Cheryl and I had a great time at both the "pre-reunion" and the reunion.  Both of these events were wonderfully planned with obvious care and detail.  The informality of both evenings gave us all plenty of time to mingle and shoot the breeze--something that doesn't always happen at these things. For my two cents worth, whenever we do this again, the same format should be used.  We don't need a long formal program with speeches and awards.  What we had was right on target--lots of talking and lots of dancing.

This website is also a must!! In addition to the superb organization by the committee, I think the website was the "clincher" in getting everyone onboard.  It must continue to be supported.

Dick and Cheryl Martin

P.S. I was also amazed that we all looked exactly like our high school pictures!!  OK, that's a stretch.  I'll stop now.

Thank you to everyone for the great reunion weekend; it was so much fun.

Everyone looked so great.  I hope that when we have the next one, that some of the people who were not able to come to this one will be able to come then; they missed a great time.

Catching up with classmates was so interesting, finding out where they live etc.

Thank you again to all the classmates that helped to put these events on, you guys did a great job.

Lynn Ellis (Brooks Hunt)

What fun we all had from the first planning meeting I attended to the final song on Saturday evening!  It was so fun catching up with so many "old" friends at the incredible lawn party, golf tournament, and then the dinner/dance on Saturday evening.  Everyone looked fabulous and I loved the name tags!

Dick Campbell certainly outdid himself in gathering so many special effects for the lawn party and the memory board.  The special tribute to those who have passed by Dick Martin and Lois Peterson's special picture board were very touching, especially for me.  Thank you so much.

Dick and Marsha, your lawn party, was simply wonderful from beginning to end--it was obvious that hours of planning and preparation went into it!  It was fabulous!  Thank you so much for opening your home and beautiful back yard to all of us.  All the extra touches were incredible!

To all the great classmates and spouses that helped on the committee I applaud you--it was a great working team!   Jane Goodness did an incredible job of keeping us organized and the web site up to date.  You sure make Don look good, Jane!!!  For those classmates that were unable to attend, you missed a great event and hoping that many of you will be able to make the next one!  It promises to be even better!

I just can't tell you all how great this reunion was. It was just great to see all my classmates again and somehow this one was different. The genuine joy of being together again after sooooo long was apparent. You could just feel the excitment and happyness. I can tell you all that weren't able to be there this time, be sure you don't miss the next!!!  It was so much fun from the Golf Tournament to the Lawn Party and the Dinner Dance. I just don't know which I liked most. Getting reaquainted again is so special and I hope to continue!! And Steve Joy, you owe me a dance!!!!

Dick (Perry) I too recall those days at Washington St. the three of us and Timmy Geaghan as trustworthy patrol boys. I think Jim Galant was one at times also?
Steve was truly a great guy. The last time I saw him was in the mid 80's I think, at the racquet club and he was showing me the wound he got as a gunner on a helicopter in Viet Nam. It went from his hip to his foot....

Dick, I also recall our Boy Scout days, and how close our mother's were.

All the best to all.

And yes, Margaret still looks as hot as ever, but another "well preserved (VERY WELL) is Colleen Clough from Cambpell's lawn party a couple of years ago. She hasn't changed a bit either!!!

Steve was aptly named--Joy! He was such a delight to all who knew him. On his facebook page, he shared the poster for the boat race that cost him his life and wrote, "need for speed".  I am sickened to think he is gone, but glad that he died doing something that thrilled him.  I am so sorry we will not have his presence at our 50th reunion.
